Dudhsagar waterfall, located about 60 kilometers from Panaji in Goa, is one of India’s tallest waterfalls and can make an idea hangout for taking a temporary break from the usual work-centered life. The most striking thing about this four-tiered waterfall is the color of the water changes from blue to white as the water gushes down from the top tier to the bottom tier, it is such a gorgeous sight to the eyes of the onlookers and you mustn’t miss taking snapshots of this natural wonder. The entry is open for the public between 6:00 is to 5:00 pm.

How to Reach: One cannot reach directly to Dudhsagar waterfalls. The easiest way of getting there is to take a flight to Goa to land at Goa Airport, also known as Dabolim Airport. From the airport, take a taxi to the nearby Madgaon village, from Madgaon you can hop on a luxury bus to travel a distance of 40 km to reach Mollem village and then hire a jeep from there to reach the picturesque waterfall.


Best time to visit: The months of Oct to May, when the monsoon season has just ended and there is an abundance of water in the waterfall are perfect for sightseeing the Dudhsagar waterfalls.


5. Kasol, Himachal Pradesh
