In our country, flag hoisting is done on both Independence Day and Republic Day. To hoist the flag on both days is to honor the flag of our country. There is some fundamental difference between the proclamations of both the days that we discuss.
Independence Day स्वतंत्रता दिवश :
This day is celebrated on 15 August. For the first time after independence, on 15 August 1947, the first Prime Minister of the country, Jawaharlal Nehru, hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi. Since this flag was hoisted for the first time after independence, on 15 August, the flag hoisting of this day is called Independence Day.
The festival of Independence Day is also called Independence Day.
India was liberated from British slavery on 15 August 1947, so it is celebrated as Independence Day.
On 15 August, the Prime Minister of the country unfurls the tricolor at the Red Fort and addresses the entire nation after the National Anthem.
On the day of Independence, the martyrs and soldiers of the country are remembered and they are paid tribute to those who sacrificed their precious lives to gain their motherland in the freedom struggle.

This day is celebrated as the national festival of India. Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26 January. The Constitution of India was enacted on the same day in 1950 by removing the Government of India Act (1935). A democratic government system was enacted on 26 January 1950 to become an independent republic and establish the rule of law in the country. 26. This day was chosen in January because it was on this day in 1930 that the Indian National Congress declared India as Swaraj. Therefore, this day is a national holiday.
The first President of the country, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, assumed the position on 26 January 1950 and hoisted the Rajpath in Delhi for the first time.
Republic day is called Republic day.
On 26 January every year, the President of India performs the flag hoisting at the Rajpath in Delhi and the entire national anthem is sung in a standing ovation.
On 26 January, the Republic Day parade is held at Rajpath in the country's capital, Delhi. In which India honors its citizens. On Republic Day, a parade is organized to highlight the importance of each state and union territory in the country.
Various regiments of the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy, etc. all take part in this grand parade. Starting the parade, Prime Minister Amar Jawan Jyoti (a memorial to the soldiers), who is situated at one end of the Rajpath, puts a wreath on it. A two-minute silence is observed in his memory. After that, the Prime Minister, along with others, comes to the platform at Rajpath.
There is also an exhibition of various states in the parade which presents the culture of India as well as exhibits of people of every state, their folk songs, and art.
